    Lot of Three Knives With Texas Ranger Association. Comprising: 1) Hand-forged bowie knife with 5-inch tapered blade. Rough, hardwood grip. Pommel with hand stamped legend, "Texan By Birth Ranger By Choice/Augustus M. Gildea." Contained in rawhide scabbard with green felt trim, lining and belt loop. Front decorated with orange, yellow and white beaded circle and star motif. Sold together with hand written letter from a previous owner tracing ownership back to 1955. 2) Cased Smith & Wesson Commemorative Texas Ranger Bowie Knife. Condition: Excellent. 3) Cased Schrade Texas Ranger Commemorative Folding Knife. 2 3/4-inch tapered blade etched with "Texas Ranger" Stag-type grip panels with Texas Ranger logo. Sold together with black leather scabbard and Ranger lapel pin. Condition: 1) Fair to good. Blade with moderate pitting and surface rust. Grip with age wear and patina. Scabbard good with scattered fine crackling and age patina. 2-3) Excellent.
