    Lot of Four U.S. Army Military Knives, Circa 1880-1917.
    Including: 1.) U.S. Army entrenching tool with an 8-inch spade blade, turned wood handle and brown leather scabbard. Handle stamped "U.S.". 2.) Springfield Model 1880 hunting knife. 8 ½-inch blade with turned wooden handle. Obverse brass guard stamped "Springfield"; reverse numbered "1028". Leather scabbard with brass throat and brass hanger marked "Watervliet Arsenal". 3.) Model 1904 Hospital Corps knife. 12-inch rounded blade and grooved walnut handle. Stamped "U.S. / 36723" on the obverse and "SA / [Flaming bomb] / 1914" on the reverse. Leather scabbard marked "Rock Island / Arsenal / 1910 / H.E.K." 4.) L. F. & C. 1917 trench knife. 9 ¼-inch triangular blade. Guard with 7 pyramidal knobs. Green leather scabbard with blued metal throat and tip. Leather stamped "PFLCO 1918".

    Condition: 1.) Light scattered surface rust on the blade, otherwise very good condition. Scabbard lacking large sections of the leather covering, poor condition. 2.) Scattered dark pitting to blade, otherwise very good condition. 3.) Very good condition. 4.) Very good condition.
