    Lot of Five Antique Pocket Knives with Genuine Tortoiseshell Handles.
    Comprising: (1) Circa 1880-1920. 2"?closed figural cross knife with tortoiseshell scales having a small area of silver pique work on one side, perhaps forming the initials "AH". One blade, unmarked, with filework along the back of the blade and down the backspring. Loop extension for chatelaine. Excellent, light spotting on blade. (2) Circa 1850-1900. Exhibition grade Victorian era two blade "Jenny Lind" or "Tuxedo" pattern pocketknife by Sheffield's Joseph Rodgers & Sons. Engraved silver bolsters and shield, the shield reading "S. Waterhouse". Blades retain original polish with spotting and are fileworked along the backs, inside of backsprings also fileworked. Antique mint condition, in its original pasteboard case. (3) Circa 1852-1912. 2-3/4" closed equal end three blade whittler pattern marked H & B MFG. Co. NEW?BRITAIN CONN. Perfect tortoiseshell scales, blades have been cleaned. Excellent. (4) Circa 1870-1910. 3-3/4" closed rifle figural with tortoiseshell scales, containing one pen blade and a folding mechanical pencil. Blades are lazy. Very good. (5) Circa 1890-1930. Swiss-made gentlemans knife, 3" closed, with two cutting
    blades, scissors, and manicure blade, two marked with winged wheel
    trademark and COUTELLERIE?SUISSE. Tortoiseshell scales with crack on
    obverse, patch and crack on reverse; ear spoon and tweezers hidden at the ends. Blades in excellent condition, very good overall.
