    Folding Two-Blade Knife by J.S. Holler & Co. with Scarce San Francisco Retailer Adolph Blaich Marking.

    4 1/2- clip point and serrated blades. Ricasso marked J.S. HOLLER & CO. / ADOLPH BLAICH / SAN FRANCISCO and RAZOR STEEL / GERMANY. Stag scales. Overall length 10-inches. 5 1/2-inches closed. According to research, John S. Holler Company was a NYC cutlery import firm operating between the 1860's thru 1906. Also shows them having a business in San Francisco during the 1880's and 90's where they used Adolph Blaich as an agent.

    Condition: Good with age wear. Light pitting and wear to blades, including tip. Right scale with a crack and loss around steel pin, otherwise just some wear and minimal stress cracks around pins.
