    Early 20th Century Bowie Knife by Read & Elvidge, London.
    7 1/4-inch spearpoint polished steel blade. Ricasso marked: READ & ELVIDGE. Guard absent. Stag grip panels retained by 4 pins. Contained in nice old tooled leather scabbard with integral belt loop.

    Read & Elvidge was located at 13 Warwick Court, High Holborn, 1900-1945.

    Condition: Good. Blade with age wear and spotting. Scattered fine pitting. Leather supple with some dryness near loop. Stud absent. Minor soiling.
