    Cased Presentation San Francisco Style Bowie Knife.
    6-inch, double-edged spearpoint blade. Oval German-silver guard. Silver banded grip with abalone panels and two diamonds. Coin edge pommel screw. Sold together with plated scabbard the front panel with floral engraving surrounding running hare. Reverse with inscription: TO HENRY / A TOKEN OF MY DEEPEST DEVOTION/LAURA/SEPTEMBER, 1868. Dual belt loops. All contained in blue velvet lined leather case with brass fittings.

    Condition: Fine. Blade with small patches of fine pitting and showing fine polishing marks. Ricasso with scabbard wear. Grip with age wear and patina. Scabbard with only light age wear and patina. Case: Very good. Light soiling to lid interior. Ripples to bottom exterior.
