African Ethnographic Fighting Knife. Possibly from the Ngombe or related tribes, this handsome knife has a 24 1/4-inch hand-forged double-waisted blade with unique raised markings with an alligator or crocodile image near the tip. The grip is an ornately wire-wrapped in copper and the orb pommel is covered with small hobnails. Contained in original leather-covered wooden scabbard, with raised detail. Condition: Knife is very good, showing age wear, minor pitting and dark patina. Scabbard is fair, showing some cracking of wood and fraying of leather on reverse side.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
