    Signed Koa Issin Mantetsu Saku Kore

    Japanese Katana With Signed Blade in Wooden Resting Case.

    26 1/4-inch blade signed on both sides of the tang. It is signed Koa Issin Mantetsu Saku Kore. Mounted in a wooden resting case captioned with multiple kanji characters (untranslated). According to some research found on this piece, the date is Showa. Blades were made in Manchuria from 1938 through 1944. Rugged swords that wouldn't break in those temperatures.     Condition: Fine with some handling wear. Resting case with scratches, dings and mars from storage.
