Indo-Persian Ornately Decorated Tulwar-Hilted Kukri. Traditional Talwar form plain iron hilt with an 18 1/2-inch single-edge curved blade in the kukri form. The hammer-forged blade is ornately decorated with panels of floral scroll accented with inlayed copper at the hilt and along the back of the blade. On each side of the widest portion of the blade there are circular vignettes, the obverse featuring a warrior or royalty; the reverse with a sun motif. The sun is accented with applied brass.
