Group Of Eleven Ancient Weapons / Tools / and Projectile Points. The two war hammers and two adzes are identified as being from central Europe, bronze age, C. 3000 B. C. The double bit war axe is 9", the hammer with single bit is 8 1/4". The smaller of the two adzes is 4 7/8" and the larger is 6". The projectile points are all identified as Sarmation and range in size from 3" to 7 3/8". Several are iron, the others bronze. The smaller points likely meant for use with arrows while the two larger points are obviously meant to be mounted on lightweight spears. The Sarmatian culture spanned the period from the 5th century B. C. to the 4th century A.D. A very nice grouping all in very fine untouched 'relic' condition.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
