    Description

    German Made Non-Regulation Light Cavalry Saber. 32 ¾" slightly curved blade, marked "W. Walsheid / Solingen" on the reverse ricasso. The blade is lightly etched on either side with floral decoration, panoplies of arms, and other patriotic scenes. Wire wrapped fish skin grips. Metal scabbard with two suspension rings. Blade with some tarnishing and scabbard wear; hilt with surface rust; scabbard with surface rust. Very good.
