    Description

German Made Horseman's Sheath Knife. A well-executed weapon, frequently referred to as a "Gaucho" knife, with a 7" single-edge blade (11¾" overall), made by Franz Wenk of Solingen, Germany. The grip is ornately decorated with floral scroll accented with gilded rosettes and a horse head vignette. The knife is accompanied by a lightly tooled leather scabbard with complimentarily designed metal tip, likewise with gilded accents. The blade is dark from age and there is uniform light surface pits to each side of the blade, otherwise it is in very good condition.
