    8 7/8-inch spearpoint blade, the ricasso marked: JONATHAN/CROOKES/[heart-pistol]. Maker's mark likely spurious. German silver guard with ball finials. Ornate silver ferrule. Lustrous one-piece mother-of-peal grip. Contained in silver-plated brass scabbard with belt stud and ball finial.

    Condition: Very good to fine. Blade with scattered fine spotting and staining. Fine scratches. Tiny spot of adhesive where blade meets guard. Grip with 1-inch hairline crack. Scabbard with light age wear and fine polishing marks.
