    Fine Bowie Knife by Mick Langley.
    10-inch polished steel tapered blade with serrated back edge and notch. Ricasso marked: LANGLEY. Right side marked: M.S. Polished steel ferrule and pommel. Figured hardwood grip. Black leather sewn scabbard with floral-engraved concho. Reverse with integral belt loop stamped: LANGLEY/M.S.

    Mick Langley started custom knife making in 1977 having relocated from the Sheffield area of the U.K to Canada. He earned his Master Smith stamp in 1986. Langley forges his own Damascus and high carbon steel making fixed blade hunters, Bowies, daggers and boot knives and does his own leatherwork for the sheaths and uses only natural handle materials. He is the first Canadian Master Bladesmith in the American Bladesmith society.
