    General Officer Grade Sword

    Exceptional Quality WWII Japanese Army Officers' Sword. 26 ¾-inch bright blade; 37 ½-inches overall. Signed on the tang. One hole. Cloth wrapped ray skin handle with all mounts painted brown with edges highlighted in gold. Leather saru-te. Highly detailed open work brass tsuba. Brown scabbard with a fixed ashi and a lower spring-loaded removable ashi. All scabbard mounts painted brown with gold-edge highlights.

    Condition: Excellent. Bright blade with a small nick in the cutting edge, otherwise beautiful. Scabbard retains 98% original paint, displaying some light scratches and scuffs.
