    Engraved California Style Dress Knife by Jim Ence with Mother of Pearl Handle and Scabbard. 6-inch spearpoint blade marked ENCE on ricasso. Mother of Pearl grip with ten gold color rivets on each panel flushed with synthetic rubies and with engraved shield escutcheon on each side, also in gold color. Fully engraved handle with floral scroll-work including borders. Contained in original steel scabbard with belt hook. Scabbard also with floral engraving to throat and tip. Engraving done and signed by J. Warenski. Note: Jim Ence, Utah (1941-2010) was a highly regarded knifemaker, known for his custom high art period pieces especially California knives. He did most of his engraving and gold work. Overall length: 11-inches.
    Condition: Fine to excellent. Showing little handling wear. Light wear from taking it out of scabbard. Scabbard with minor handling marks and fine scratches.
