    Description

    Early 19th Century U.S. Artillery Officers' Sword. 29" bright curved blade with no adornment or maker's markings. Bone grip with carved vertical grooves. Brass hilt. Leather scabbard with brass tip and throat. Blade with scattered spotting and areas of surface rust; very small chips along the cutting edge. Leather on the scabbard crazed and scuffed but remains pliable. Very good.
