College Hill Arsenal Confederate Cavalry Officer's Saber.
30 ½-inch blade with unstopped fuller running to within 4-inches of the tip. Generally smooth and gray with just some minor scattered light pitting and just one nick, very nice. Hilt is exceptional with several noteworthy casting and finish flaws, and deeply cast "CSA". Iron backstrap and grip ferrule, the leather wrapped grip near perfect, with all of the single strand copper wire wrap tight. Hilt overall with nice untouched patina. Original iron scabbard with brass ring mounts, iron rings and iron drag. Scabbard with some scattered light pitting and a number of small dents on the lower 8-inches, all obviously very old. Retains the original riveted scabbard throat and overall completely untouched.

Condition: Really an exception untouched example of this very desirable Confederate saber.
