    Description

    Civil War Dated Model 1840 NCO Sword and Militia Sword. Includes a nice 1863 dated Roby manufactured 1840 NCO sword in a reproduction scabbard. The sword itself is in excellent condition and the reproduction scabbard is in as new condition. The militia sword has a Pettibone acid etched maker's mark on the obverse ricasso. This sword features a bone grip and knight's head pommel. The sword is complete with a black painted metal scabbard which has retained approximately 50-60% paint. The guard is a bit loose and the blade gray and spotted, otherwise it is in good condition.
