    Beautiful Eagle Head Officers' Sword, Circa 1812-1820.
    32-inch slightly curved blade with broad fullers running to within 6-inches of the tip. Decoration accented in gilt on blued panels. Decoration includes an eagle and "E Pluribus Unum" banner, laurel wreath, sun, panoply of arms, and "Honor and My Country" slogan. Checkered bone grip. Gilded-brass hilt with eagle head pommel and chain guard to connect the pommel to the quillons. Lacks scabbard.

    Condition: Very good. Blade with some age spotting; quillon loose on hilt, two small chips out of bone handle.
