    U.S. Model 1892 Krag Bayonet. The very well-made, all steel, bayonet with wood grips measures 16 ¼-inches overall. The hilt configuration is a bird's head pommel with the standard push-button and integral spring latch. The grips are wood and held on by flush-mounted rivets. The blade is single-fullered on both sides, single cutting edge with short false-edge towards the tip. It is marked U.S. on one side of the ricasso and 1908 on the other. Condition: Fine. The blade has a deep nick in the top, 2 ¼-inches from the tip.
