    More Information:

Sir William Dugdale (1605-86) was a well known researcher in antiquities and a Royalist, closely associated with Charles I.  Lowndes says, "The Rev. Jos. Hunter... characterizes the Baronage as a work abounding in the most valuable information, and far less inaccurate than a first attempt of the kind might reasonably be expected, where one object was to recall many half-perished names, and to arrange them in exact genealogical order; a work which none can comprehend the nicety and difficulty, but those who have actually made the experiment. 'The Baronage is distinguished by the most laborious research and extraordinary accuracy, and confers honour upon its author.'"

"After thirty years of accumulating material towards a history of the nobility, Dugdale energetically applied himself to its completion in the later 1660s and the early seventies. Long delayed in the press, the first volume of The Baronage of England eventually appeared in 1676; the second and third were printed together in 1677. It is a history of the aristocracy and its deeds since Saxon times, an immense work of genealogical scholarship derived from sound sources that retains its value to the present day. The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
