    More Information:

    Pfeiffer (1645-1695) of Nuremberg,studied in Altdorf, Jena, Wittemberg, Helmstadt and Leipzig. He was a professor of Greek language  at Konigsburg and canon of Gutstadt.He first published these essays on ancient Greece in 1695.
