Signed by Montgomery of Alamein on the title-page. Octavo. [xiv], 226 pages. With fold-out double-sided map (one side in black and white, the other in color). Publisher's full burgundy cloth, front board and spine stamped and lettered in gilt, front board additionally stamped in blue, dust jacket. Jacket spine browned, jacket chipped with some wear and tears, tape repairs to verso, some rubbing to binding, previous owner's gift inscription on the front free endpaper, a few tears to folding map, some foxing to endleaves. Still, a good copy. From a private collection in North Carolina.
