London: Printed for B. White and Son, 1788. First edition. Octavo. iv, 183, [1, blank] pages. Complete with fold-out view of the Island of Bananas, and the large folding map inserted at front. Contemporary full mottled, calf, boards ruled in gilt, burgundy gilt morocco lettering label on spine, five raised bands, gilt board edges and turn-ins, marbled endleaves. Front board detached, rear board loose, spine chipped and worn, boards worn, front free endpaper and first blank leaf nearly detached, minor foxing and offsetting due to map and plate, text otherwise clean. A very good clean copy in a damaged binding.
