    More Information:

    "The Second Edition, with great Additions". Six folio volumes. Title pages in red and black. Ornamental head- and tail-pieces, decorated large initials. Bound in full calf with double gilt ruled borders, six raised spine bands with gilt lettered leather title labels and additional gilt in compartments, gilt decorated board edges, and marbled endpapers. Bindings rubbed and scuffed with surface leather losses, some cracking joints. Textblocks lightly cockled. Pages with light edge wear, corner bends, few minor edge tears. Few small holes and trails from biopredation in the upper margins of the fifth volume, not affecting text. Some foxing and occasional minor soiling. Very good.
