    Octavo. Modern calf, four raised bands on spine, black morocco spine label lettered in gilt, all edges red. Boards slightly rubbed with a few scrapes affecting leather, tail of spine stained. Text block lightly toned, a few minor ink stains on edges, front hinge starting, occasional spots of foxing, ink ownership signature as well as occasional pencil and ink annotations, faint to light dampstaining on fore-edges of terminal leaves, small open tear on last page. A very good copy for its age.
