    Between 1952 and 1961 the Winston Publishing Company printed 35 titles for their juvenile science fiction series. All titles were commissioned by the publisher and, thus, constituted original first editions. It should be noted that several renowned authors had their first novels published by Winston, such as the first three listed above: Poul Anderson, Ben Bova, and Evan Hunter (a.k.a. Ed McBain). The Winston series is also known for their vibrant and fantastic dust jacket art.
