    William Simpson. The Seat of War in the East, First Series [and:] Second Series. London: Published by Paul & Dominic Colnaghi & Co., 1855-1856. First edition. Two large folio volumes. Unpaginated. Contemporary half morocco over blue cloth, rebacked. Raised bands on spines. Edges marbled. Mild rubbing on covers, extremities bumped. Front joint starting and spine ends chipped on First Series. Marbled endpapers. Light toning, scattered foxing, and occasional thumbsoiling. Second Series has dampstaining on outer margins of textblock, long closed tear repaired on sheet following title page. Overall, very good.
