    Connoisseurs' Edition, limited to 26 copies of which this is letter E. Folio. Single volume of a ten-volume set. 265-361, [1]-99 pages. Extra-illustrated with watercolors and engraved plates in color.

    Custom full brown morocco with five raised bands by Adams Bindery. Gilt double ruled boards and single ruled compartments. Gilt titles on backstrip. Compartments decorated with gilt and red floral onlays. Boards with elaborate gilt designs, and a portrait of Shakespeare in leather onlay and encircled by a ring of flowers in alternating red and gold onlay. Gilt ruled inner dentelles. Tan morocco doublures with gilt floral design and red rose onlays. Front doublure with color painting measuring 2.75 x 4.5 inches. Green silk moiré endpapers. Top edge gilt with remaining edges uncut. Mild rubbing and shelfwear. One-inch split beginning along front joint. Mildly toned pages. Housed in worn full leather slipcase. A near fine copy.
