    Description

William Shakespeare First Folio Title Page of MacBeth "Actus Primus. Scoena Prima." Measuring 7.25" x 11.65", and in spectacular, extra fine condition. Nicely custom-framed, with a reproduction image to a size of 25" x 22", with glass on reverse to show another page printed on verso.

Opens to "Thunder and Lightning. Enter three witches", and the classic lines "When shall we three meet againe? In Thunder, Lightning or in Raine? When the Hurley-burley's done, when the Battaile's lost, and wonne. That will be ere the set of sunne."

An entire First Folio of Shakespeare is almost unobtainable, and would command a price in the $2 million-plus range. This first page from what many considered the Bard's greatest play is a beautiful display piece, and a satisfying substitute.
