Original first state dust jacket (not clipped, priced $6.00 and no zip code information). Minor edge wear and rubbing to jacket. Small stain on fore-edge of text. Near fine. [and:] The Naked Lunch. Paris: Olympia Press, [1959]. First edition, first issue, with "Francs: 1,500" on rear cover. Twelvemo. 225 pages. Publisher's green printed wrappers. Bowing and toning to the spine, with some very minor scuffing. A few tiny areas of discoloration to covers. Minor foxing to text edges and the front endpapers. Very good. A landmark publication in American literature, this controversial book broke every convention of narrative storytelling. Signed copies are scarce.
