With portrait frontispiece in volume I, and twenty-seven plates by Cruikshank inserted throughout. Half-title in volume III (no other half-titles, as issued). Publisher's full green cloth, boards decoratively ruled and paneled in blind, spines ruled in blind and lettered in gilt. Yellow-coated endleaves. Spines sunned, some wear, thumbsoiling to bindings, occasional foxing to endleaves, bookplates on front pastedowns. Text toned, with occasional foxing and thumbsoiling. Plate facing page 94 in volume II creased and torn, with a repair to the verso. All volumes somewhat skewed. Still, very good.
