William Camden. Remaines of a Greater Worke, Concerning Britaine. London: Printed by G. E. for Simon Waterson, 1605.

First edition. Small quarto. [vi], 235, [1], 59 pages.

Nineteenth century quarter leather and marbled paper over boards. Titles stamped in gilt on the spine. Endpapers replaces. Two facsimile pages supplied to replace pages 93 and 94. Interesting contemporary marginalia throughout. Boards worn at the edges; spine at the ends. Still, an attractive copy in very good condition.

Chiefly remembered today as bearing a contemporary reference to Shakespeare while he was still alive: ".Shakespeare, & other most pregnant witts of these ages our times, who succeeding ages may justly admire."

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
