A Beautiful Example of Disney's Rare Waddle Book
Walt Disney Studios. Mickey Mouse Waddle Book. New York: Blue Ribbon Books, [1934]. First edition. Octavo. Unpaginated. 2 folding pages of unpunched waddlers. Folding runway. 4 brass pieces. Publisher's pictorial paper boards. Lightly rubbed and soiled with some minor bumping and abrasions to corners. Binding a bit shaken. Pencil erasing from front free endpaper and title page, causing no abrasion to paper. Ownership name on title page. Pages lightly thumbed with some small, occasional soiling. Dust jacket has toning and edge wear with several small chips and tears. There is a one and one-half-inch tear at tail of front joint that shows tape residue. Large tears on rear panel with internal tape repairs. Waddle pages have been detached from binding, but appear otherwise unused and unpunched. Runway with some minor toning, lacking original envelope. Brass pieces laid-in, lacking original gray envelope. Publisher's extremely scarce wrap-around advertising band is present with light rubbing and some minor splitting along top edge.
