Lightly chipped and worn dust jacket; a two-inch piece of the jacket has detached and is held in place with tape on rear. Overall, very good.

    Publisher's red cloth with silver stamping. Spine has a slight lean and there is a drink stain on the front board. Spine shows some fading and there is a bump on the bottom edge of the boards. Foxing to endpapers and page edges. Dust jacket is rubbed and edge-worn with fading along the spine and some chipping at the corners and spine ends. There is a two-inch piece of the bottom edge that has detached and is held in place with reinforcing tape on the rear. Overall, very good.


    Maugham's final collection of short stories, mostly drawn from earlier magazine contributions.
