Karamisheff's Book on Mongolia and Western China in the Scarce Original Dust Jacket
W. Karamisheff. Mongolia and Western China.
Social and Economic Study. Tientsin: Librarie Française,
1925. First edition, first printing. Octavo. xxvii, 401 pages. With
three folding maps. Publisher's full light brown cloth, front board
and spine stamped in dark brown, in the rare original dust jacket.
Jacket spine toned and chipped, creased tears to front panel with
small tape repairs to verso, some edgewear and toning, cloth spine
lightly dull, minor rubbing to binding, some foxing in text
(especially on last few leaves). Bookseller's ticket on rear
pastedown. Not an ex-library copy (which is quite often the case
for this book - when you can find it). Still, a very good copy in
the rare dust jacket.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.View More Testimonials
