Publisher's original yellow cloth with dark grey titles on the spine and decoration on the front board. Contents slightly toned, as usual. Book block slightly skewed. Dust jacket with small tears and wear at the extremities. All things considered a very good copy.

A science fiction version of Shakespeare's The Tempest. Locke: A Spectrum of Fantasy, page 208: "The novelisation of a celebrated science fiction film in which the crew of a spacecraft combats a powerful alien menace originating from the underground remnants of a dead far as I am concerned, this book is one of the two or three most important post-war science fiction film novelisations, and is very scarce indeed". Tuck: The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction and Fantasy, page 413: "Novelisation of the screenplay by Cyril Hume, based on the story by Irving Block and Allen Adler.
