    Recent full polished calf with gilt spine. Marbled endpapers. Heavy foxing and tanning throughout. Some pages trimmed quite close to fore-edge. Bookplate to flyleaf. Binding is sturdy and tight. Despite the poor paper quality, the overall condition of the book is very good.


    Includes: Lieut. J. W. Abert. Report of His Examination of New Mexico in the Years 1846-47. [and]: Lieut. Col. P. St. George Cook. Report of His March from Santa Fé, New Mexico, to San Diego, Upper California. [and:] Journal of Captain A. R. Johnston, First Dragoons.
