Violet Oakley. The Holy Experiment. A Message to the World from Pennsylvania. Philadelphia: Privately Printed, [1922]. One of 500 copies for subscribers signed by Oakley. This is copy number 41. Large folio (22.5 x 15 inches; 570 x 385 mm.). Text loose as issued, printed in red and black after Oakley's original calligraphy. With twenty two tipped-in illuminated full color plates. Publisher's full tan goat, front board stamped in dark brown and gilt, rear board stamped in dark brown, with two brass clasps at the fore-edge of the boards. Some rubbing, mild soiling, some minor edgewear to text. Very good.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
