Publisher's dark green buckram with lighter green spine titles. Original pictorial dust jacket. Minor edge wear to the boards. Spine ends lightly bumped. Light dust-soiling to the text edges. Minor dust-soiling and edge wear to the jacket, with two tiny chips to the top edge. Bottom corner of front flap clipped, but $5.95 price remains at the top corner. Overall, a tight, square copy in near fine condition. Number 72 on the Modern Library's list of the 100 best English-language novels of the twentieth century.
