Hand-sewn self wrappers. Ink names to outer front. Spine reinforced to frontispiece. Moderate wear, spotting and staining to some leaves. Paper repair to page 17. Occasional contemporary marginalia. Very good. Evans 13074. [and:] [Nehemia Strong]. The Connecticut Almanack, for the Year of Our Lord 1780. Hartford: Printed and Sold by Hudson and Goodwin, [1779]. First edition. Twelvemo. 24 pages. Hand-sewn self wrappers. Fore-edge and bottom edge uncut. Minor staining and rubbing, plus a few ink names to wrappers. Some minor short closed tears to margins. Top corner of last leaf torn away. Significant contemporary marginalia concerning Captain Levi Ely and four others who were killed in the battle at Stone Arabia. Very good. Evans 16538.
