Gilt decoration on covers and spine. All edges gilt. Some rubbing to extremities. Lower corners bumped. Hinges starting. Light scattered foxing, affecting plates. Over-opened in some places, Pencil marks on "List of Plates", pp. iii-iv. Some light dampstaining on plates titled "Gasport Railway Terminus" (facing verso of p. 142), "Winchester" (facing p. 142), and "Wincester from the North East" (facing p. 143). Good.
