Quarto. [xvi], 669, [1] pages. Folding map frontispiece and head-pieces. Three-quarter brown calf over marbled paper-covered boards; ruled in blind; spine lettered in gilt with five raised bands. All edges trimmed and marbled. Marbled endpapers. Rebacked to style with some wear to edges and joints; soft bumping to corners; boards rubbed with some small areas of paper loss, most pronounced at rear board. Repairs visible at hinges. Slight toning with some mild foxing around frontispiece and following pages. Else a clean, bright, near fine text, in a very good binding. With armorial bookplate of E. W. Wynne Pendarves, Member of Parliament for West Cornwall from 1832-1853, affixed to front pastedown.
