    More Information:

"An abridgement of Captain Cook's third voyage. This octavo edition is not to be confused with the second edition, which did not appear until 1785. This abridged edition is preferred by some readers because, the nautical and technical parts having been deleted, the work reads more like an adventure." - Beddie 1551. Sabin 16251. Forbes 69.
