    Two octavo volumes. [iv], 282; [iv], [244] pages. With half-titles. With fold-out map and sixty engraved plates (some folding) inserted throughout. Contemporary quarter brown calf over marbled boards, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, four raised bands, black gilt morocco lettering labels, marbled endleaves. Joints starting, one later tape repair to spine of volume I near headcap, some minor intermittent foxing in text. A fair copy.
