[8], 272 pages. Engraved title page and frontispiece of Indian Prince Tyaana, large engraved folding map of the North-West Coast of America, not issued in all copies. Small hole in upper right corner background of map, small tear near inner margin. Illustrated bookplate of "James Edge-Partington" on front pastedown. Full leather, rebacked with original spine laid on top, gilt decorations on spine rubbed, no title label. Binding rubbed, scuffed, and soiled, corners bumped, lower right corner of front board chipped; endpapers with bleedthrough and off-set in the borders from leather turn-ins, small holograph pencil notations on both pastedowns and on margin of frontispiece, erasure marks on upper right corner of title page, small hole in leaf B5 affecting page number, pages cockled, varying degrees of foxing and browning (heavier spotting on last two gatherings, R and S), few small edge chips, map with light edge and fold wear, creases, corner bends, occasional minor soiling or damp stains; else in very good condition.
