Ashendene edition, limited to 280 copies, this being one of 260 on handmade paper. Folio (15.75 x 10.6875 inches; 400 x 271 mm.). [2], 363, [1, printer's device] pages. Printed in black with red initials, marginalia, and opening lines. Original white pigskin by W. H. Smith & Sons, Ltd.; spine stamped in gilt with seven raised bands. Edges rough-trimmed. Some wear to edges, hinges, spine bands and corners. Some toning, splotches of faint soiling to boards, most noticeable on rear. Foxing to extreme fore-edges of pages, otherwise clean and bright interior. Near fine. Housed in a custom slipcase.
