Presentation binding, red leather spine and corners over cloth, with title and Smoot's name in gilded type on the spine. Marbled page edges and end sheets. Rubbing to the spine, corners worn to boards, else good.
    Lincoln Memorial Commission, William H. Taft, Chairman. Lincoln Memorial Commission Report.... Washington: Government Printing Office, 1913. 41 pages. Floor plans, site plan, elevations including one foldout. Special presentation binding with leather spine and corners over cloth, spine has gilded titled and name "Reed Smoot" also in gild. Marbled page edges and end sheets. Report of the Lincoln Memorial Commission giving recommendations on the location plan and design of the Memorial. Rubbing to the spine and corners, else good.
    Edward F. Concklin. The Lincoln Memorial, Washington. Washington: Government Printing Office, 1927. 94 pages. Numerous photographs. Gives the history of the design and construction of the Memorial and includes a sketch of Lincoln's life by Helen Nicolay. Navy, gold ruled cloth with the title in gilt. Bump to the edge of the binding, else good.
