First edition of the author's first book, preceded only by a nonfiction pamphlet published in 1919. Octavo (7.5 x 5.125 inches; 192 x 130 mm.). [2, blank], [viii], 626, [4, blank] pages. Small blemish to rear board, upper corner gently bumped, bottom edge lightly rubbed, few minor scuffs to top edge of text-block, the faintest of offsetting to endpapers. Nearly fine with only minor flaws, in a bright and unsophisticated very good dust jacket with some minor edgewear, a small chip to the crown and closed tears at the bottom of three of the folds (both flaps and the rear joint), the longest measuring approximately 2.5 inches. Housed in a custom clamshell case.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
